Police (PNP) chief Gen. Debold Sinas proudly shared that he lost over 72 pounds under their agency’s physical fitness program.
According to Sinas, he started to follow a strict diet and did regular exercises when he assumed the top
police post in November 2020. In five months, he lost a significant amount of weight and he couldn’t be any more proud of himself.
He also said that his achievement meant that their weight reduction program dubbed “Oplan Chubby Anonymous” for overweight cops was effective. Sinas also presented 20 cops who also proved that their program helped them lose weight.
Sinas, who is set to retire on May 8, is encouraging his successor to continue their fitness program so more cops may benefit from it.
“I’m encouraging them and who will be the next Chief PNP to continue the program by the word Chubby Anonymous is hindi bulgar hindi mamahiya, sila sila nag-uusap,” Sinas said.
“Just to show to them if continue the program let’s say from five months just like what I did mas lalong gaganda, gagaan ang pakiramdam at maging presentable at hind na mahihiya. I’m very proud sa ginawa namin sa Chubby Anonymous kung mapansin n’yo ang target lang is obese,” he added.
Under the program, the “biggest loser” was recognized after he lost a total of 24.1 kilograms or 53 pounds.
Sinas also urged the rest of the PNP personnel to continue their 4-minute daily exercises in the morning and afternoon. The exercises are usually done every 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. under the tune of Sinas’ favorite cartoon show, Voltes 5 soundtrack.
