After the public trended again the #NasaanAngPangulo, many have speculated on the whereabouts of the President. Senator Bong Go, a close aide of Duterte already assured that the President is working and is physically fit and healthy. Along with the assurance is a photo of the senator with Duterte working next to a pile of documents on table.

As the photo spread online, several netizens couldn’t help but claim that the image was only photoshopped. On Facebook, a netizen wrote a lengthy post about how the photo looks odd because the glass table didn’t seem to reflect the image of Duterte who was sitting next to it.

The netizen clarified that his speculation is merely “katuwaan” but also asked if there is “something fishy” going on, especially because Davao City Mayor Sara recently flew to Singapore.

On Twitter, several netizens also aired the same sentiments.

Meanwhile, Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque shrugged off the rumors.

He answered, “As to claims that the recent photos of President Duterte are photoshopped, those who made noise on the matter are the usual detractors of the Chief Executive who see nothing good in what he does. Let them be.”
