- The vlogger said she will face those who are criticizing her because she knows she didn’t do anything wrong
Ivana Alawi said she won’t back down against those who are criticizing her after she helped a kutsinta vendor.
Earlier, Ivana released a vlog where she pretended to be a beggar. There, she met a kutsinta vendor named Joselito Martinez whose life story touched many netizens. The video that went viral earned a lot of praises, yet there are still those who questioned the intentions of Ivana.
The vlogger faced a few criticisms from those who called her out for allegedly promoting mendicacy and for violating protocols. Ivana finally spoke up and said she won’t hesitate to face those threatening her. She clarified that she didn’t do anything wrong.
Ivana remarked, “Haharapin ko ‘yun. Lalaban ako, ‘di ba? Kasi para sa akin, I didn’t do anything wrong. Ang intention ko was just to help out and to inspire people.”
“Wala akong tinapakan na tao, wala akong sinaktan na tao. Masaya ako sa video and I would do it again,” she added.
Ivana reflected how unfortunate it is that there are always people who will try to bring you down, even if you are doing good.
“Hayaan na lang natin. Na-realize ko sa buhay, parang no matter what you do, kung may gagawin kang maganda, kung may gagawin kang hindi maganda, laging may masasabi sila,” Ivana lamented.
Meanwhile, Ivana gave updates on Tatay Joselito; saying that she has bought her more gifts.
“Right after ko nilabas ‘yung vlog na street
prank, nagkita kami after two days. Pina-swab ko siya tapos nakapag-usap, nag-lunch, and I helped out in my own small ways,” she revealed. Apart from buying Tatay home appliances, Ivana also gifted him with a brand new motorcycle.
