- He shared that the public only believes what they see on TV and not them in real life
- The actor said he is well aware of his wrongdoings but doesn’t like talking about it publicly
Gerald Anderson spoke up amid the controversies surrounding him.
The actor spoke with Toni Gonzaga on ABS-CBN’s I Feel U as they talked about how Gerald handles controversies and criticisms against him. Gerald’s love affairs have always kept netizens talking. From his past relationships with Kim Chiu and Maja Salvador to his breakup with Bea Alonzo to being with Julia Barretto, many have accused Gerald of being a playboy.
Amid it all, Gerald reveals that what frustrates him regarding the critics is that as a celebrity, he is expected to be perfect.
He went on to explain that people easily judge him based only on what they see on TV and not how he struggles to be better. Gerald shared that he owns up to mistakes but he isn’t the kind of person who publicly talks about it.
I think ‘yung maraming tao parang gusto nila i-explain ko isa isa. Or ‘yung parang, hindi po ganun eh.” Gerald disclosed.
