Billy Crawford shared how thankful he is to TV5 and admitted that he is now more inspired to work because of his son, Amari.
The TV host opened up about the challenges he had to go through and the opportunities that are now opening up for him. Billy admitted that he and his wife, Coleen, had once thought of packing their bags, selling his properties in the Philippines, and moving to another country after he lost his job as a result of the pandemic and the shutdown of ABS-CBN.
He recalled, “May mga tipong life decisions na kailangang gawin. Kasi, hindi madali mag-outlook o magtanaw ng positivity sa lahat na negative na nangyayari sa paligid mo.”
Billy also revealed that he and Coleen were emotional when ABS-CBN was forced to shut down but it was their faith that kept them going. “Ang number one na natutunan namin is nagtiwala kami sa Panginoon. Nagdasal kami nang todo-todo at iniyakan naming pamilya kung ano talaga ang kailangan naming gawin,” he shared.
Billy is very grateful that TV5 gave him job opportunities. He added now that he is a family man, he is more driven to work hard.
“And we are slowly climbing that wall and, until now, kahit anong mangyari. I’m just really thankful na meron akong blessing. Meron akong mga shows sa TV5. Kaya no matter what pandemic season there is or coming or dealing, ang pinakaimportante is we have to look forward and we have to do what’s right for our family. Kaya nandito pa rin po ako,” Billy said.
