- Vice Ganda revealed in a vlog his sentiments about Direk Bobet Vidanes’ leaving It’s Showtime
- He couldn’t help but say that he felt offended and disappointed
- Ryan Bang also admitted he was emotional when Direk Bobet left their show
Vice Ganda opened up about his sentiments following the departure of Direk Bobet Vidanes from their noontime show “It’s Showtime.”
On Vice’s recent vlog, the host got honest and candid about feeling hurt when Direk Bobet left their show without informing them. He even revealed that he texted Direk Bobet so they could talk about his reasons for leaving but he didn’t get any reply.
Vice added, “Nakakagulat lang, parang after 11 years… doon lang pala iyon. Parang kung… kung meron man tayong bahagi doon sa dahilan niya para umalis. Sana, nalaman man lang natin, ‘di ba? At kung meron man, kumbaga, kung tayo, isa sa atin ang dahilan kaya siya umalis, sana alam natin. Para napag-usapan.”
Vice said it would be a lie if he would say he didn’t feel offended. He recalled that it was just days after they celebrated It’s Showtime’s 11th anniversary when Direk Bobet left.
Vice disclosed, “‘Yun lang din, nakaka… ang plastik pag sinabing hindi ako na-offend! Parang… naloka din ako. Parang… ano yun? Ganun-ganun lang? Walang sabi-sabi.”
“After 11 years, nanggaling pa iyon sa anniversary na meron pa tayong mga chikang ‘walang iwanan kahit anong mangyari’ sa opening. ‘Di ba, may mga ganun-ganun tayo? ‘Tapos, right after, a few days after the anniversary, biglang may maririnig kang parang… Anong nangyari sa pangako?” he added.
Ryan Bang also admitted he got emotional when Direk Bobet left. He said, “Ang sakit, ‘tapos siyempre, naiyak ako. Tatay natin yun, e, ‘di ba? Tatay natin sa show. Dapat, walang iwanan.”
Direk Bobet left ABS-CBN’s It’s Showtime to move to its rival noontime show in TV5 Lunch Out Loud.
