Sharon Dacera revealed there had been offers to make a biopic of her late daughter Christine.
Sharon admitted that three production companies already made offers but their family rejected it because they want to focus on the pending case.
“Three production companies offered to make a biopic about Christine, but I did not say yes because the case of my daughter is still ongoing,” she reportedly shared with Manila Bulletin.
“For now, we just want to focus on my daughter’s case,” she added.
Sharon also refused to drop the names of the production companies interested in making Christine’s biopic. “Baka kasi ma-technical kami kasi ongoing pa ang
kaso,” Sharon stated.
In an earlier report by PEP, it was revealed that Sharon met up with line producer Dennis Evangelista. On Facebook, the photo of Dennis and Sharon was posted by the producer himself. When asked for details on the possibility of Christine’s biopic, the producer answered, “Wala pa. Wala pa talaga.”
In the comment section, Dennis also replied to a query about the film, and he explained, “Marami pa pong pag-uusap. Hindi pa confirmed.”
Amid speculations, names of possible actresses who will portray the life of the late flight attendant have caused a stir among netizens. According to the report, it seems like Sharon is more interested in Kapuso stars. Bianca Umali was allegedly Sharon’s favorite pick.
In her attempt to find justice for her daughter, Sharon earlier admitted consulting with a psychic to reach out to Christine. The mother insisted that Christine repeatedly informed her through the psychic that she was “betrayed by a friend.”
