Richard Yap will play as Heart Evangelista’s leading man in his first teleserye on GMA.
Kapuso fans are abuzz over reports that Evangelista will return on TV and will be partnered with Yap in an upcoming GMA teleserye “I Left My Heart in Sorsogon.” While GMA still has no official statement on the team-up, many reports have surfaced confirming the news.
On Instagram, a GMA fanpage named Kapuso Netizens posted about Evangelista and Yap’s new teleserye.
“Abangan ang Asia’s Queen of Creative Collaboration- Heart Evangelista at ang ating bagong kapuso na si Richard Yap sa “I Left My Heart In Sorsogon”, ang unang pasilip sa kanilang gagampanang role at iba pang upcoming kapuso program mapapanood na sa 1st Anniversary Special ng All Out Sundays ngayong January 30,” the caption posted. Evangelista liked the post.
But the biggest hint confirming the Evangelista- Yap pairing is during the airing of All Out Sunday’s Anniversary Special. They shared separate video greetings under the banner of “I Left My Heart in Sorsogon.”
Entertainment news website, Pep.ph also revealed that a Kapuso insider already divulged a few details about Yap’s first project as a Kapuso.
When Yap signed with GMA, he revealed the names of the Kapuso actresses he would want to work with in future teleseryes and shows. Among those include Evangelista, Marian Rivera, Lovi Poe, Rhian Ramos, and Carla Abellana.
“Kahit sino naman sa kanila, it’s a parang nakakahiya naman kung ako pa pipili,” he said.
