GMA is relaunching its second free TV with a fresh new look.
Used to be known as GMA News TV, the Kapuso network has rebranded it as GTV. The new channel promises to offer “the news you trust and new shows to love.”
Following the GMA’s commitment to provide “Serbisyong Totoo,” the new GTV will feature credible news programs under GMA News, GMA Regional TV, and DZBB. Alongside its newscasts, GTV also offers fresh programming options for both the young and the young-at-heart.
Among the primetime teleseryes that Kapusos can enjoy are: the fantasy-romance “The Lost Recipe,” the rom-com series “My Fantastic Pag-ibig,” Game of the Gens,” and many more.
The “Batang 90s” will also surely enjoy the reruns of the classic animes of their time.
“We’ve lined up the beloved anime that have been airing before in GMA. GMA was known as anime authority so this will also trickle down to GTV,” said Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, President of GMA Films, Inc. and Programming Consultant to the Chairman and CEO.
“We’re launching Pokémon and Dragon Ball Z—those loved anime that we used to show years before in GMA, you’ll also see them now on GTV,” she added.
Gozon-Valdes assured that the list of animes is just the beginning as GTV is focused on bringing back the classics. She shared that the network is still on the lookout to acquire new anime titles. The news has definitely made many Kapuso viewers thrilled as there has long been a clamor for the reruns of animes on TV.
