- Vice Ganda threw a cryptic message saying he is a comedian but he knows someone who is a clown
- This came after Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said the public shouldn’t be swayed by the opinion of a comedian instead of experts
- Vice earlier commented on Roque’s statement that the public shouldn’t be picky in choosing our COVID-19 vaccine
Vice Ganda has recently aired a cryptic message clarifying his job in showbiz.
In It’s Showtime’s “Tawag ng Tanghalan,” Vice was in a playful banter with co-host Jhong Hilario over a contestant’s song choice. Makki Lucino sang the song “Clown” by Emeli Sandé; explaining that he relates to the song because he makes others laugh even though he is facing problems in life.
Jhong agreed and said he and the other hosts of “It’s Showtime” are also like that whenever they go on air.
Vice, however, opted for a humorous and cryptic response. He said while looking directly at the camera, “Hindi ako clown. I’m a comedian. At may kilala akong clown.”
He repeated while still facing the camera, “I am a comedian. You are the clown.”
Netizens were quick to assume that the message was for Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque who earlier threw shade at Vice for his opinion on the government’s covid-19 vaccination program.
“Sa sabong panlaba nga choosy tayo e sa bakuna pa kaya. Ano to basta may maisaksak lang?! Vaklang twoooaahhh!!!” Vice tweeted.
He made the remark following Roque’s controversial statement that the public shouldn’t be picky when it comes to the government’s COVID-19 vaccine.
Without mentioning names, Roque told the public not to be swayed by the opinion of comedians and instead, believe in experts.
