A generous Syrian vlogger surprised several fast food drive-thru crews by giving them huge tips.

Basel Manadil, also known as the Hungry Syrian Wanderer, is again going viral for his generosity and kindness. Known for his giveaways and random acts of kindness, Basel decided to surprise fast food drive-thru crews with some money.

On his Facebook page, Basel shared his latest vlog to his followers. He revealed that since this is his second vlog for the year, he wanted to make it extra special. Basel made a plan to go through several fastfood drive thru and give huge tips to the hardworking crews.

“I will surprise the drive-thru crews, the same as I surprise my crew during Christmas eve and New Year’s Eve and other holidays here in the Philippines,” Basel explained.

According to the popular vlogger, he wanted to do it because he wanted to inspire the crew to be positive about this year.

“Today, I want to bless them. It’s just a bonus from me, even though I know I am not their boss. But I want them to start their year good, I want this year to start with energy. So, I am very happy to be part of their happiness,” he added.

The reactions of the surprised drive-thru crews were priceless. Many of the crew all thought it was a prank but later on thanked and praised Basel for the gift. One admitted that he was hesitant to receive it but since Basel insisted, he received it and was very grateful.

In the end, Basel said he was able to give away a total of P100,000 in tips.

He wrote, “Starting this year with so much positivity and sharing a total of P100,000 cash to give away to hardworking and deserving people, on this episode it’s for the drive-thru crews.”
