eart Evangelista was surprised to see her face right on a billboard in New York’s Time Square.
The Kapuso actress was overwhelmed when she saw her digital billboard being shown on the iconic Time Square, New York City. On her social media account, Evangelista shared photos and videos of the billboard brightly lit next to several huge billboards.
On her Instagram stories, she wrote, “Woke up with my face on Times Square.”
She also posted on her Facebook the photos of the digital billboard expressing how grateful she is for the endorsement, especially because it represents Filipino artisans.
Evangelista wrote, “I still can’t believe that my billboard for @iasthreads is displayed in Times Square in New York! I’m so grateful for such an incredible opportunity to highlight a sustainable brand that shows the talented craftsmanship of Filipino artisans. God is truly good.”
Evangelista’s billboard is an advertisement from Ia’s Threads by New York-based Filipino fashion designer Ia Faraoni.
On Instagram, the page of Ia’s Threads’ disclosed that Evangelista was carrying the Panda Minaudiére, which is part of its latest Cruise collection. The product was even named after Evangelista’s dog, Panda. It also described Evangelista as “Recently named as one of the World’s Top Luxury Influencers by Forbes Paris.”
Evangelista reacted to the compliments and replied to the post saying, “It’s an honor.”
In November, Evangelista was named by Forbes France as one of the Top 10 most fashionable influencers in the world. She was also included in the Vogue 100 last 2019.
