Heart Evangelista and Sorsogon Governor Chiz Escudero gave advice to couples who are in a “long distance relationship” due to the pandemic.
On Evangelista’s latest vlog, she was joined by her husband on another episode of their “Adulting” series. This time, the couple discussed about LDR, donating and even a sneak peak into Escudero’s political plans.
According to Escudero, his wife was away in China for a month for an undisclosed project. He said that what get them through was “Unawaan at intindihan.”
Amid the ongoing pandemic, many couples have been separated for months now. While they say that distance makes the heart grow fonder, many also say that the heart forgets. For the celebrity couple, the pandemic should not be a reason to break up but to hold on to each other.
Escudero shared, “This too shall come to pass. It will pass sooner or later. It’s a matter of holding on to each other during this time. Hindi naman siguro porke’t nagka-COVID magbre-break kayo at hindi nagkikita sa isa or dalawang buwan. Ibig sabihin noon mababaw. At hindi nakaugat kung ano mang meron kayo.”
Evangelista agreed and said, “In short, in a nutshell, it is about communication and understanding.”
They also mentioned how lucky couples are these days because there are so many ways to still keep in touch due to internet and social media.
To conclude, Escudero gave his nugget of wisdom for couples, “Each and every person also need that time apart, time to be by himself or herself, for them to grow. Not apart but separately.”
