- Daniel Padilla was asked for his opinion on the controversial Covid vaccine program of the government
- He was even asked if he is willing to be vaccinated with China-made Sinovac
- The actor explained that it’s better to wait for details about the vaccine before making hasty remarks
Daniel Padilla admitted that he is careful in giving statements on the country’s current issue on the procurement of Covid vaccine.
Daniel was joined by his real and reel partner Kathryn Bernardo in a virtual interview via MJ Marfori’s YouTube channel to share updates on their loveteam. Aside from the showbiz topics, the love team was also asked about their awareness on social issues that the country is facing.
Since the public has its own opinion on the country’s covid vaccination program, the Kapamilya actor was asked by TV5’s MJ Marfori on his stand on the issue. MJ even prodded Daniel if he is willing to get the controversial Sinovac made from China.
He admitted that the issue is “too hot” that there is a need for more details about the vaccine.
“It’s a good question, pero masyadong mainit at baka mapaso tayo d’yan, ‘di ba? So maghihintay pa tayo ng ibang mga detalye about sa vaccine kasi hanggan ngayon naman hindi pa nafa-finalize kung anong mangyayari,” Daniel said.
He continued that it’s best to be mum for the meantime. “So ‘wag muna tayong magsalita hangga’t hindi pa na-finalize ang mga bagay at baka mapaso tayo sa niluluto natin,” Daniel added.
Meanwhile, KathNiel disclosed that they have scheduled projects for this year, especially because their fans have been anticipating their return on the screen again.
“As a love team, gusto naming matuloy na rin ‘yung project na niluluto para sa amin. Sana within the year magawa natin ‘yon dahil marami na ring nag-aabang, marami na ring naghihintay. Kami rin siyempre kasi ‘yung istoryang binigay sa amin ay nakaka-excite na rin gawin,” Daniel said.
