Ogie Diaz revealed he decided to turn down a celebrity who wanted to be featured in his show because he agreed to the shutdown of ABS-CBN.
Ogie remained firm with his decision not to promote those who said yes to the shutdown of the Kapamilya network.
On his Facebook page, he shared that a promo coordinator asked for his help to feature in his vlog a movie star who has an entry to the Metro Manila Film Fest 2020.
He wrote, “Asking for my support ang isang namamahala ng isang movie for the filmfest. Yes to ABS-CBN shutdown siya. Sorry.’”
Ogie did not disclose the identity of the celebrity. He also talked about the issue in his latest vlog and said he won’t hesitate to turn down any request for promotion of celebrities who expressed their support to the rejection of ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal.
“Firm ako diyan and that’s my stand at kung sino ‘yung mga kakilala ko o kaibigan na nag-yes to shutdown, hindi ko kayo ige-guest,” he said.
