- The actress said it is not easy and she tries to be strong for her family
Loisa Andalio couldn’t help but be emotional as she talked about losing her work after ABS-CBN’s shutdown.
The teen actress opened up about her emotions and fears as she talked about the uncertainties of the current times as COVID-19 drags on. On Magandang Buhay, Loisa shared the pressures and challenges she has to face as a breadwinner of her family.
She said, “Pinaka-challenge talaga ‘yung walang work. Bilang breadwinner, ‘di ba, mahirap. Ikaw ‘yung inaasahan ng family mo.”
“Kasi, kumbaga, ikaw ‘yung may pinaka-okay na trabaho noon, e. ‘Tapos biglang wala na,” she added.
Loisa shared that although her siblings are working, their earnings are only enough for their own families.
“‘Tapos sila din naman, hindi naman ganoon talaga… Yung sinusuweldo ng mga kuya ko, tama lang naman sa mga anak nila din. “So, mahirap, sobrang mahirap,” she said.
Loisa said, her boyfriend Ronnie Alonte, who is also a breadwinner, shares the same sentiments. They often talked about the uncertainties and challenges they are facing in providing for their families.
She said, “Napag-uusapan namin yung sitwasyon. Yung parang, ‘Hindi talaga natin alam, ‘no?’ Hirap. Mahirap din kasi sa family, kumbaga, kami ‘yung parang strength—edukasyon, pagkain, lahat.”
Loisa said she would rather keep her worries to herself than share it because she doesn’t want her family to be bothered. She wanted to show her family that they can get through this.
Loisa and Ronnie were supposed to star in an ABS-CBN teleserye Cara Y Cruz with Julia Barretto. However, after Julia moved to Viva Artists Agency, she, along with Loisa and Ronnie, were removed from the cast.
