Members of the Senate of the Philippines extended health packs to frontliners in time for their 104th anniversary.
Frontliners from the Pasay General Hospital, Pasay City Health Office, and Philcare Manpower Services received the gift packs given by the Senate. On the official Facebook page of the Senate, they shared photos showing the Senate Spouses Foundation Inc. turning over the gift packs to the recipients.
“Pasay City Frontliners were chosen because Pasay has been graciously housing the Senate for so many years now,” Senate President Vicente Sotto III said in a statement.
“May God continue to guide the Senate of the Philippines for a better and stronger Philippines,” he added.
In the photos, Sotto’s daughter Ciara, who represented Helen Gamboa as president of the Senate Spouses Foundation Inc led the turnover of the donation of health packs.
“The donation is part of the celebration of the Senate’s 104th Anniversary which is being celebrated today, Friday, October 16, 2020, with the theme “Matatag na Senado, Kabalikat ng Pilipino,'” the Senate stated.
