As the coronation night comes near, Miss Universe Philippines gave a sneak peek of the coveted sparkly crown.

The crown will be called “Filipina” and was crafted by the Villarica Family in Meycauayan, Bulacan.

On Facebook, Miss Universe Philippines stated that the stones and gems represent the Filipina’s dream and ambitions.

“We are very grateful to them for stepping up to the challenge of creating this masterpiece. More than their expertise on gems and jewelry, they provided us with valuable insights on the significance of precious stones and what each one represents. These gems are emblems of dreams, ambition, happiness, pride, self-worth, and empowerment,” they added.

The pageant organization added that the crown was truly made special by the Villarica Family as they also promote women empowerment.

“Having a point-of-view as informed as theirs allowed them to make a crown that truly looks and feels special. This is another major contribution to the cause of Women Empowerment from the same group founded by an empowered Filipina— a group that, until today, continues to place their belief in maintaining an all-female staff,” the Miss Universe Philippines stated.
