Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla shared a message for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs).
KathNiel invited OFWs to watch their upcoming digital series “The House Arrest of Us” starting October 24. Along with the invitation, the popular loveteam also shared a message on how proud they are of our hardworking OFWs.
Kathryn who previously acted as an OFW working in Hong Kong in the movie, “Hello, Love, Goodbye,” shared how she hopes many OFWs would watch their series to remind them of their homes in the Philippines.
“I’m really hoping na yung mga OFWs natin diyan sa Hong Kong na naging special na sa akin from my previous movie. Sana mabalik nito yung mga memories nila with their family in the Philippines. Lalo na yung pinaka-nami-miss nila,” she said.
Daniel also said that they will be praying for the OFWs and shared he considers them his “idols.”
“Mag-iingat ho tayong lahat at pinagdadasal namin kayo all the time at we appreciate you at kung ano man ang ginagawa niyo. Alam namin na hindi madali unang-una ang mahiwalay sa pamilya at ginagawa niyo yan para sa pamilya niyo na nandito sa Pilipinas kaya kayo ang tunay na mga idol namin. So God bless you,” Daniel said.
Kathryn also shared the same sentiment and said she too will pray for their OFW fans. She hopes their series will bring smiles to them as Christmas comes near.
Last year, during Kathryn’s immersion for her role for “Hello, Love, Goodbye,” she said she’s willing to become an advocate for OFWs.
