- Angel Locsin made it to the Tatler Asia’s Leaders of Tomorrow 2020 list

Angel Locsin has been named one of Tatler Asia’s Leaders of Tomorrow 2020.
The actress was included in the list of 2020 Leaders of Tomorrow by Tatler Adia which recognizes individuals who are making contributions to public service.
Angel is included in the “The Generation T” of the list, along with 400 other young leaders “who are shaping Asia by redefining their industries or breaking new ground.”
According to Tatler Asia, Angel was recognized for her philanthropic work in education, women’s rights and health.
“Initially famous for her television work, Angelica Locsin became a household name for her philanthropic work, particularly since she donated US$300,000 to scholarships for the less fortunate, as well as supporting the economic and political rights of indigenous people, and working to end viol
ence against women and children,” the report stated.
“Since the coronavirus crisis began, she has played an important role in raising funds for hospitals and equipment for frontline doctors,” it added.
Meanwhile, Angel and her fiancè Neil Arce are overwhelmed with the recognition. In a short video, Angel expressed her gratitude for being part of the list.
“I’m amazed, inspired to be alongside fellow artists all over Asia. And I’m proud to represent the Philippines,” she said.
Neil also said, “Thank you from the Philippines @tatlerphilippines @tatlerasia for making me part of the awesome list. Mabuhay!”
Aside from Angel, other Filipinos who made it to Tatler Asia’s 2020 Leaders of Tomorrow list include gymnast Carlos Yulo, Angkas founder George Royeca, Senator Grace Poe’s Chief of Staff and son Brian Poe Llamanzares, fashion designer Mich Dulce, photographer Ezra Alcayan, among others.
