Nadine Samonte proudly shared that she has now ventured into selling dried fish or daing for business.
With the entertainment industry badly affected by COVID-19 pandemic, many celebrities have turned into different business ventures to help supplement their livelihood.
Among those celebrities who have turned to selling is Nadine who decided to sell dried fish. While many netizens were a bit surprised with Nadine’s choice of goods, she said there is no shame in selling dried fish.
On Instagram, Nadine shared a photo of herself with her variety of dried fishes for sale. She wrote, “Yes we sell dried fishes na din. You know why? Nung nakatikim ako nito super sarap why? Actually matagal na ko bumibili niyan and lagi kami meron dito sa house kasi fave din ni Heather ang danggit and dilis.”
She even said that all the packs in the photo are already sold out but they will be posting more in the next few days. “We have danggit, sweet pusit, palad flakes, big dilis boneless and small dilis. Lahat hindi maalat and fresh from Masbate pa talaga kaya malinamnam. hehe,” she added.
Nadine said in these times of crisis, it’s best to be resourceful to survive. She said, “Hindi ako nahihiya na magbenta ng ganito kasi sa panahon ngayon, kailangan natin maging madiskarte and hindi nakakahiya kasi masarap talaga.”
She even went on to say that her husband calls her the new “D&D queen.”
“Ang sabi ng asawa ko the new D&D queen daw ako ng south hahaha meaning? Danggit and Dilis hahaha,” Nadine said.
