The popular loveteam dubbed as “MayWard” showed that the youth should participate in social issues and a big step to that is to register as voters. On Instagram, MayWard’s good friend Robi Domingo shared photos of their registration last September 9 in Quezon City.

“Dati sila ang binoboto niyo sa PBB, ngayon sila naman ang boboto para sa kinabukasan. Ikaw, nakapag-register ka na ba?” Robi wrote in the caption of his post.

Edward also shared photos of their voter’s registration experience. He also urged the youth to take the time and effort to register and help make history.

He wrote, “Registered to vote Make sure you do too! Let’s change the course of our nation and write OUR OWN history #WeTheYouth #40MStrong.”

Maymay also shared photos and had a short but meaningful caption, saying, “Magparehistro na para makaboto #40MStrong.”

As the 2022 elections near, more celebrities have been raising their voices to urge the youth to register as voters. Among those is Pia Wurtzbach who said it’s not enough that voices be heard on social media alone.

After Pemberton’s pardon, Pia Wurtzbach urges Pinoys to register as voters

“I will continue reminding everyone to register to vote. Dahil sigurado, maraming magpapabukas nito until the last minute. No more excuses (even for me) lahat tayo dapat registered na. Hindi enough na sa social media lang tayo naririnig. #MasMaramiTayo #MagparehistroKa #40MStrong,” she tweeted.
