Jinkee Pacquiao reminisced about the simple wedding she had with Senator Manny Pacquiao.
Jinkee looked back at the past as she shared photos of their civil wedding ceremony back in 1999. She said she couldn’t believe that they are now 21 years married. She added that she thanks the Lord for helping them get through many challenges and difficulties in their marriage.
She wrote on Instagram, “21 years and counting! Grabe, how time flies. Nagpapasalamat ako sa Panginoon sa lahat, ang dami nating pinagdaanan, nalampasan ang mga pagsubok at ngayon mananatiling matatag at malakas sa gabay ng Panginoon! I love you, babe! God is good all the time!”
Like her other posts, Jinkee also shared a bible verse about the importance of marriage. She quoted, “The two are united into one. Then the Lord said, It is not good for man to be alone. I will make a helper just right for him.”
“God gave me you,” she added.
Jinkee also commented about their looks back in the day. She said Manny looks very much like their eldesr son, Jimuel while she looks like their daughter, Queenie.
She said in jest, “Blonde pa ang hair mo @mannypacquiao. Ikaw murag [parang] si jimuel ako murag [parang] si queenie.”
Last March when Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli got married, Manny revealed that he married Jinkee without the blessing of his mother, Dionisia. He said his Mommy Dionisia didn’t approve of Jinkee and didn’t attend their civil wedding.
“Nagpakasal kami ni Jinkee, wala yung magulang ko kasi ayaw niya kay Jinkee,” Manny said.
