Hungry Syrian Wanderer celebrates 3-million subscribers by giving away food

  • To express his gratitude, he gave away food and drinks to random people he saw on the streets

The “adopted son of the Philippines” the Hungry Syrian Wanderer, Basil Manadil, reached more than three million subscribers on his Youtube channel.

On his Facebook post, he wrote,

HAPPY 3 MILLION TO US MGA TAO! As I express my gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.”

With much gratitude, he gave away burgers, hotdogs, and milkteas to people “to bring joy and make people smile in a simple way.”

On his Youtube account, he said, “The key to selfless giving is that you feel good when you do it and you feel good afterwards, because as you repeat it again and again, YOU CHANGE. Witnessing a selfless act brings tears to remind us how we should be treating others.”

He also added he wanted to bring back the bayanihan. He wanted to use his Youtube channel to help others and the “send awareness” to people saying, ” If I can do it, you can too. Spread Kindness and Positivity.

Netizens commend the goodness of Basil and congratulated him for reaching more than three million subscribers.

On the comment section of his facebook account, a netizen said, “Congratulations! You’re very generous, kind, humble, & very helpful esp to the less fortunate! May our Lord continue to keep you safe always! God bless! The Filipinos are grateful and lucky to have you there esp those in Las Pinas! Yummy burgers, hotdog sandwiches, & milkteas!” 

Basil first came to Philippines in year 2013, he is noted for his positive views on the Philippines. He is also known for helping people most especially the victims of calamities.

He started his own Youtube channel in 2016, but his channel kicked off in July 2019 when he released a video praising the Philippines and its economy.
