Liza Soberano wrote a lengthy apology for her previous tweet about her having a strong internet connection.
On Twitter, the actress said she was surprised that many people were offended with her tweet. She clarified she didn’t mean to brag about it.
Liza tweeted, “I stumbled upon a few tweets from people who are upset and find my tweet about having fast internet offensive. I’m sorry your telecommunications provider isn’t taking care of your problems. In no way was it my intention to brag.”
She urged others to speak up and complain to their internet service providers if they experience bad service.
“I was just genuinely relieved to finally have fast internet. I know it’s a problem we are all struggling with now. So please, to all the internet providers please do your best to help people out especially at a time like this when internet has become an essential. We’re all trying to survive and get school and work done,” she added.
Liza said the point of her earlier tweet was to ask ISPs to treat their “customers fairly, no matter who they are.” She said everyone is working hard to pay for their internet and deserves the best service.
The actress earlier shared how ecstatic she was to finally shift from Converge to PLDT. She said she now has the best internet connection she had ever experienced in her whole five years of living in her house. “300 MBPS. What a lifesaver. Lag? I don’t know her,” Liza said.
