Cherie Gil said she has learned to let go of the things she doesn’t need as the COVID-19 lockdown continues.
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to sweep through the country, celebrities and those working in the entertainment industry have been one of those who were badly affected.
Cheri also shared the adjustments she made as she copes with the “new normal. She said among the many realizations she had was to learn to let go of the unnecessary things she had as part of her lifestyle change.
“All of us are in the same form, kanya-kanyang barko nga lang. And then of course, the lifestyle changed. You realize that you don’t need much,” Cherie shared on “Bright Side” of GMA Public Affairs.
She continued that since she hasn’t been outside for six months, she sold a car. She also learned many things about herself since being on lockdown.
Cheri said, “In fact, kakabenta ko nga lang ng isang kotse. I said, ‘That’s it, I don’t really need cars, I don’t go anywhere. Somehow there’s a part of me na after all the time na parang nagse-settle na ako, nae-enjoy ko na at marami na akong nadi-discover about myself.”
The seasoned actress admitted she also misses working on set with her colleagues. Cherie said, “I miss the camaraderie, I miss the laughter which only can happen in engaging with one another.”
“I miss it of course, so that’s why I decided to create an online master class, so nai-ignite pa rin ‘yung motor ko at saka in a way I’m quite inspired,” she added.
