The actress-philanthropist went to social media to express her disapproval over the rumors circulating that she and Neil have already broken up.

On Facebook, Angel shared a screenshot of YouTube videos that seem to be “clickbaiting” on the alleged breakup of the couple.

She said it’s unfortunate that people would go through the effort to try and ruin their relationship and put her in a bad light. Angel wrote, “Oh wow. Can’t believe some people would stoop this low. Why do some people make this much effort to put me in a bad light? That is the question?”

On Facebook, the post had the caption,”Huwag basta basta maniniwala! Going strong po ang NeilGel.”

Niel, on the other hand, laughed off the issue and also commented, “Muntikan na ko maging victim ng fake news. Buti na lang hindi Neil Arci ang pangalan ko.”

“Parang masyadong maaga to decide kung tuloy or anong mangyayari. Hindi natin alam baka next week may vaccine na. Hindi na lang po kami magko-complain. Maghihintay na lang kami kung ano mang mangyayari,” Angel shared on ABS-CBN.

The couple is currently working together on the public service program “Iba ‘Yan”. The series features inspiring stories of Filipinos helping others in need.
