Called“Bayanihan e-SKWELA,” the initiative shows instructional video series that will show academic experts discuss the expected changes in the education system as it shifts to online learning. It also provides techniques and approaches that can be used by students as they prepare for online classes.

The video series were made with the help of volunteer faculty members from the University of the Philippines’ College of Education, College of Music and Integrated School. There are also students from the UP Special Education Area, teachers from Culiat Elementary School in Quezon City and even celebrities and personalities who shared their talents for the videos.

This is the reason why the video series was dubbed “bayanihan”; because it is a product of the cooperation of many individuals from various fields of expertise.

Robredo said they are planning to make 20 to 24 videos by the end of August.

“These are instructional videos to really help teachers and parents to prepare themselves in the blended learning offered by the Department of Education,” she said.

The caption of the video wrote, ” Mga magulang—samahan ang ating “Kumareng Kaagapay” na si Janine Gutierrez sa BAYANIHAN e-SKWELA episode na ito, upang malaman kung paano tayo magiging epektibong katuwang sa pagbasa ng ating elementary learners!”
