Regine Velasquez and husband Ogie Alcasid are helping raise funds for their fellow OPM artists by auctioning some of their personal items.
Ogie took to Instagram to show his appreciation to his wife Regine’s generosity by donating her precious Hermés bag to the fundraising campaign for OPM singers and musicians who lost their jobs due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
He posted a photo of Regine’s luxury bag and wrote, “Salamat mahal for contributing this one. This will help our opm singers and musicians! For inquiries Pls call 63 917 815 8032.”
Aside from Regine’s personal item, Ogie also auctioned his second batch of toy collections. He posted a photo of his Star Wars toys and other toy collections that are on sale.
“Batch 2 of assorted toys from star wars and other action figures will be on sale to help our opm singers and musicians who have lost their gigs since march. For inquiries pls call +63 917 815 8032 all proceeds go to www.opm.org for this fundraiser,” Ogie wrote.
This isn’t the first time Ogie let go of some of his precious toy collection.
Last May, he posted some of the toys donated to the campaign of Angel Locsin and Anne Curtis. The campaign was made to help raise funds for the personal protective equipment of medical frontliners and mass testing of the society’s poorest of the poor.
