The actor-entrepreneur admitted how he is sometimes unsure of what to do as a father but he always keeps the twins in his priorities.

Marvin said, “15 years ago dumating kayo sa buhay namin. 15 years na din akong kabado kung tama at maayos ba ang trabaho ko bilang tatay. Pero hindi n’yo yun dapat intindihin, yan ang responsibilidad na pinasok ko.”

He went on to say that while he doesn’t always know “what’s best for you boys, kasi ang buhay n’yo ay laban n’yo,” Marvin assured his sons that he’s always there for them.

He urged his twin sons to know themselves regardless of what other people will say. He encouraged them to pursue what makes them happy.

“Mas gusto kong makilala ninyo sarili n’yo at walang ibang magsabi sa inyo kung ano at dapat ninyong piliin ang kaligayahan n’yo at maaaring kaligayahan na maibibigay ninyo sa iba,” he added.

Marvin thanked Sebastian and Santiago for the opportunity to be their father.

He said, “Mahirap ang pinagdadaanan natin ngayon pero masaya ako sa maliliit na bagay na napagtatawanan at ikinaliligaya pa rin natin.”

Marvin even said in jest that the teenagers should just ask their mother to translate his message for them.

“Happy birthday handsomes! Kung hindi n’yo maintindihan ang mga sinabi ko, ask your mom. She will translate in English,” Marvin wrote.

Last Father’s Day, Marvin also posted a photo of him with Sebastian and Santiago back when they were little boys. He also wrote, “You guys challenge me to be the best, not just a dad but the best person I can be.”
