Lyca Gairanod went emotional as she took her fans on a tour of her old home.
The Voice Kids first-ever grand winner showed off the humble house she and her family used to live in Tanza, Cavite.
From picking up garbage scraps and singing on the streets, Lyca and her family’s lives have turned 360 degrees after she won in the Kapamilya singing contest. As they moved on with their new lif
e, Lyca’s grandmother has stayed in their old house.
Lyca exchanged wonderful memories of their lif
e in their old house with her grandmother.
“Marami akong pinagdaanan dati. So dito na rin talaga ako lumaki,” the teen singer said.
Lyca said she showed off her old house not to brag on how far she has succeeded but because she’s not ashamed of being poor.
Lyca couldn’t help but be emotional when her grandmother thanked her for sharing her blessings to her.
