- Manila has launched their mobile COVID-19 testing clinics in Pandacan and Tondo
- It aims to provide mass testing to barangays with the highest cases of COVID-19
- Manila Mayor Isko Moreno assured that they will continue to work hard to help curb the spread of COVID-19
The local government of Metro Manila has launched their mobile COVID-19 serology testing clinics.
Under the leadership of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, mobile serology testing clinics were launched at Pandacan and Tondo. The mobile testing trucks aim to provide mass testing to barangay levels.
The mobile testing trucks have a capacity of testing 100 samples per day. It is free of charge under the supervision of the Manila Health Department (MHD), Manila Barangay Bureau (MBB) ans Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO).
Mayor Isko said the mobile testing trucks is part of their initiative to provide aggressive mass testing to barangays will high COVID-19 cases as per the data of MHD.
“This is the start of our saturation drive in the city. Kapag kayo ay napuntahan, ibig sabihin kayo ay may pinakamaraming nag-positive sa COVID. May dapat tayong ipag-alala, may dapat tayong pangambahan,” he said
Mayor Isko continued to urge his constituents to practice discipline in following protocols. He also assured that their local government will work hard to curb the spread of COVID-19 with the public’s cooperation.
“Gagawin naming ang lahat-lahat, pero hindi kami magtatagupay kapag ang tao ay nagpabaya sa sarili niya. Ang susi ng tagumpay nasa tao, dahil ang virus ay hindi naglalakad. Ang tao ang naglalakad, ang tao ang nagpaparami. Kapag iyon nilagay niyo sa inyong isipan, tingin ko tayo’y mag-iingat,” Mayor Isko reminded.
He promised that he will continue to serve every Manileño amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
“Pipilitin natin mayakap lahat. Kahit singkong duling nalang pera ang Maynila. Pipilitin naming maging masinop, mainam, episyente araw-araw,” Mayor Isko said.
