Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray has turned to her faith following the controversial Instagram stories of her ex-boyfriend Clint Bondad.
Clint and Catriona became trending topics on Twitter after the former posted a series of puzzling statements on his Instagram stories. Netizens had a field day trying to decipher the alleged “codes” behind Clint’s posts; assuming he was posting about Catriona and her current boyfriend Sam Milby.
Without confirming anything, the beauty queen decided to post on her Instagram stories too. She shared lyrics from the song “See A Victory” by the band Elevation Worship.
Catriona wrote, “The weapon may be formed but it won’t prosper. When the darkness falls it won’t prevail. ‘Cause the God I serve knows only how to triumph. My God will never fail.”
In the past few days, Clint has been mentioning “Sam” and “Cat” in his Instagram stories. He had earlier posted how he sent a private message to Sam; asking the actor to become his “client.” “How about we have a little chat,” Clint captioned the screenshot he wrote.
Clint also mentioned “dating apps” not being equal to “Church”; prompting netizens to speculate that he was pertaining to Catriona and Sam going to the same church.
Just hours after Clint first posted about Sam, both the actor and Catriona posted an identical video that showed their relief program for families in Tondo, in partnership with her adopted organization Young Focus.
