- Former Mandaluyong mayor Benjamin Abalos Jr. said he took Chinese medicines given by former senator Bongbong Marcos when he tested positive for COVID-19
- Abalos’ parents both tested positive and are also improving due to the medicine
- He didn’t specify the name of the medicine but said he took four tables at four times a day
Former Mandaluyong mayor Benjamin Abalos Jr. shared that Chinese medicines given by ex-senator Bongbong Marcos helped him recover from COVID-19.
According to Abalos, he is no longer experiencing any of the symptoms associated with COVID-19 just a few days after he took the Chinese medicines. Abalos said after both his parents contracted COVID-19, he started experiencing joint pains, cough, sore throat and burning sensation of the skin, which are symptoms of COVID-19. His results came out to confirm that he got infected too.
Without specifying the name of the medicine, Abalos said he took it immediately. He wrote on Facebook, “Without waiting for the swabbing, I immediately took the Chinese meds Bongbong Marcos gave me (4 tablets x 4 x/day).”
“But the good news is two days ago, I sweated profusely when I took the Chinese meds. This early morning I had diarrhea, intense sweat. When I took a shower, I felt fresh, light headed, and no more symptoms of any kind whatsoever. I’m 100% fit and healthy,” he said.
Abalos also shared that the condition of his father, former Commission on Elections Chairman Benjamin Abalos Sr., has “greatly improved,” while his mother is also “continually improving.”
Abalos’ post was later on filled with messages wishing him and his parents a speedy recovery.
A supporter wrote, “We continue to pray for you Mayor and the other members of your family for speedy recovery. Let us continue to take refuge in the shadow of God’s wings until the virus has passed!”
