Pia Wurtzbach and Jeremy Jauncey are truly “relationship goals” as both are now ambassadors of the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF).
The couple appeared in a “fundraising hour” for WWF-Philippines to talk about sustainable living. During the virtual talk, Jeremy announced that Pia has been named an ambassador for WWF-Philippines.
Jeremy, who has been a WWF-US ambassador since 2018 didn’t fall short in praising Pia with sweet words before welcoming her to the WWF family. He said, “It’s been amazing talking with you, it always is, and being able to talk about a passion that we care about and supporting WWF. Starting today, Pia is officially joining the Panda family.”
Before being named as WWF ambassador, Pia joined three fundraisers this year under the WWF-Philippines. She thanked Jeremy for being a “big influence” when it comes to environmental advocacy.
“I always want to use my platform as a public figure to campaign for relevant issues. And with the pandemic showing us that planetary health is deeply connected with human health, I think it’s high time for us to acknowledge that our actions do affect the planet and everyone around us,” Pia said.
She also went to ask the support of the public for their upcoming projects and fundraisers. Pia said, “I hope you guys would continue to support me in this new journey of growth the same way you did when I brought home the crown for the country.”
Pia and Jeremy officially confirmed their relationship last June, even describing it as “love at first sight.”
