Andi Eigenmann shared why her children Ellie and baby Lilo don’t need too many expensive toys.
For a celebrity like Andi, she could easily shower her kids with whatever toys they want, but the mother of two explained why she believes her children don’t need it.
On Instagram, Andi shared an adorable photo of baby Lilo who’s all smiles on a hammock with the beautiful beach at the backdrop.
Andi said she has taught her children to appreciate nature and the simple things. She said her kids should have minimal toys as having too many causes “oversimulation.”
Because of this, Andi said her eldest child Ellie has learned to play with simple toys and enjoy whatever nature can give.
Andi wrote, “We decided to bring out a couple of Ellie’s old wooden toys for her to play with. Something she is not at all used to because, on the island, Lilo has been used to playing with whatever nature supplies us with – an old buko or a bunch of twigs!”
Andi continued, “LOL being on quarantine and unable to go out shopping, it made it clearer how even less our children really need to be happy.”
She taught Ellie to donate her toys and liv
e a minimal lif e.
“I don’t believe in showering my kids with so many toys (especially at this age). Although I wasn’t always this type of parent. But when I switched to a more minimal li
fe, Ellie also decided to donate her toys to those in need. And I just love what kind of person it has helped her become,” Andi said.
This is truly something that parents should ponder on.
