Sofia Andres shared why she and her partner Daniel Miranda are not rushing to get married soon despite being blessed with a child.
Sofia recently surprised many when she revealed that she is already a mom to an adorable little daughter Zoe. And while she and her partner Daniel Miranda has been together for four years already, Sofia admitted they are still not in a hurry to get married.
The actress – who has shied away from the showbiz limelight – said she and Daniel would rather take it slow. Sofia said in an interview with ABS-CBN’s MJ Felipe, “For now, we’re taking it slow. Kasi ayaw namin mangyari ‘yung mga… alam mo ‘yung, ayaw naming nagmamadali.”
“Kasi minsan, ‘di ba, pag aggressive o impulsive, may mga nangyayaring hindi maganda. So, gusto namin ngayon, i-establish pa ‘yung relationship namin. Mas makilala pa ‘yung isa’t isa,” she added.
Sofia said things are now different because they are already parents. She said, “At siyempre, iba ‘yung pag may lumalaki na bata, ‘no, tsaka ‘yung bonding and all that.”
She, however, said they are not closing their doors on the possibility of marriage.
“Ayaw namin ngayon na bigla na lang, ‘Sige na, ito na, pakasal na,’ parang hindi pa namin naiisip. Pero we’re gonna get there,” she said.
For now, Sofia said they are more focused with their other priorities. Aside from taking care of their 7-month-old baby Zoe, Sofia plans on going back to her career while Daniel plans to finish his studies.
