Sangguniang Kabataan members of Barangay Sapping recently launched “Load Assistance” program which seeks to provide free load to youths having online classes (for internet).

This can be availed via showing school ID and a proof that they have online classes. The program was adopted from SK Bungahan, Lian, Batangas.

Another program is the “Hiram Laptop” wherein students with no laptop can borrow one, so they can continue studying amid enhanced community quarantine.

Through the program, students having impoverished lifestyle who may be having difficulty in coping up with online classes can now keep up with their classmates.

“Mayroon din po tayong LIBRENG HIRAM NG LAPTOP. Ngunit, upang masigurado ang safety ng lahat, ipapahiram lamang po ito para sa talagang nangangailangan. Magbibigay din po kami ng disinfectant at gloves para sa gagamit nito.”

Moreover, the same youth leaders have earlier launched a project called “Mobile SKwela, eSKwela at Home” to bring learning at the doorstep of young learners. The SK members serve as teachers here.

Pupils who could not read yet were given free worksheets. Vitamins are distributed to young ones.
