- She was apparently comparing classroom rules to the ABS-CBN franchise
- Chiu said she went too emotional and she couldn’t understand what she meant too
Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu asked for an apology over a message she said via a li
ve video on Friday as part of the La ban Kapamilya protest defending ABS-CBN which signed off Tuesday following an order from the government.
Chiu said that she went too emotional at the time and that even her, she couldn’t understand what she meant.
Kahit ano pa man ang sabihin nyo OKAY LANG PO.”
In the video, the actress was apparently trying to compare classroom rules to the ABS-CBN franchise renewal issue but failed to properly elaborate her point.
Meanwhile, fellow Kapamilya talent Coco Martin defended the actress and said he is proud of her courage. “Hayaan mo na sila, sila na matalino, sila na nakapag-aral.”
ABS-CBN has also clarified that they did not publish a graphic on the statement of Chiu; saying the graphic that made rounds online was mani
pulated and mis led the public about the larger message of the actress.
The Kapamilya station, to note, has skyrocketed the career of the actress from being a dreamer in a Pinoy Big Brother edition to becoming one of the most adored celebrities to date.
She is one among the many talents of the network actively voicing out their support for the renewal of ABS-CBN’s franchise.
