This isn’t the first time Derek extended his assistance to those affected by the enhanced community quarantine. He had earlier also gave away boxes of donuts on the streets with some help from the AFP and the GMA’s Kapuso Foundation.

In an earlier video post of Derek, the actor shared his reflections and thoughts on the continuing enhanced community quarantine. He admitted how it has been stressful and difficult for him.

He said, “I’ll be honest, I’m not gonna say it’s easy. It’s really tough.”

Derek said he is taking the time for reflection and focusing on things that truly matter.

“You just really have to focus, it’s a time for reflection. It’s a time to realize things that you know, that maybe we’ve been prioritizing the wrong things in our lives. We’ve really forgotten what life is really about,” he said.
