Darren Espanto’s birthday concert was able to raise over P830,000.
Darren took to social media to express his gratitude to all those who supported his online birthday concert, which raised more than Php 830,000. The proceeds will go to ABS-CBN’s Pantawid ng Pag-Ibig initiative.

e on his Facebook page. The virtual concert featured special guests like Moira dela Torre and Gary Valenciano.
On Instagram, Darren wrote,”MARAMING SALAMAT PO! Thank you so much to everyone who supported my Birthday Concert this weekend! The final numbers are in… We raised P838, 206.69!!! This means so much to my team and I. I can only imagine how many will be blessed by this effort.”
The singer went on to thank his fans, donors, media partners and special guests. Darren added, “Thank you po mga Darrenatics! Thank you to our donors, media partners and my team from MCA Music, Star Magic and Sindikato for making this concert possible! I’d like to thank my special guests, Ate Moira, Tito Gary, and my little sister Lynelle for saying yes to being a part of this project as well.”
ABS-CBN’s “Pantawid ng Pag-ibig” project is a fund-raising campaign started last March that aims to reach out to those who are affected by the COVID-19 health crisis.
In partnership with local government officials in Metro Manila and private companies, the project aims to give food and basic necessities to Filipinos in need.
