Chito Miranda proudly showed off the harvest they got from his wife Neri’s garden.
The Parokya ni Edgar frontman took to social media to share a photo of his son Miggy happily sharing their abundant harvest from their “mini vegetable garden.” Their harvest included okra, eggplant, tomatoes, chilli and other green, leafy vegetables.
Chito wrote on Twitter, “Dami ko na namang ani! Tulad ng palagi kong sinasabi, ‘gardening is my game.’ Joke lang po yun. Ani ni Neri yan mula sa kanyang mini-garden. Nakikikain lang ako. hehe.”
In another post, Chito said, “Everyday, sobrang naglu-look forward si Neri lumabas at mag-asikaso ng garden niya. Ok din kasi palagi kaming may gulay.”
Earlier, Chito had lauded his wife and other stay-at-home mothers for their dedication amid the lockdown. He wrote a lengthy post appreciating his wife’s hardwork at home. “One thing na na-realize ko during this lockdown is sobrang hirap pala talaga ng ginagawa ni Neri bilang stay-at-home mom,” Chito began.
He went on to say how tiring it is to take care of their young child Miggy all day at home. “Pero I must admit, sobrang nakakapagod pala talaga makipag-sabayan kay Miggy day in, day out. Iisa pa lang sya nyan ah,” Chito said.
The singer said he is impressed at how his wife makes everything “look easy” and promised that he will do everything to please her in any way he can.
“Kaya ngayon, lahat ng pwede ko ibawi, ginagawa ko,” he said. “Gusto ko makapag-nap [siya] tuwing may chance. Gusto ko nagkakaroon sya ng ‘me time’ whenever possible. Pinagsisilbihan ko din siya hangga’t maaari,” Chito said.
Neri shared one of her harvest videos on her YouTube channel.
