As the world turns to prayers, trying all sorts of strategies to save everyone amid these tough times, a group of men apparently have so much time and so much disregard for urgent issues to be able to organize themselves and engage in coc
Facebook user Jerick Enopia shared a photo of convening men at Block 35, Addition Hills, Mandaluyong City, while engaging in coc
Due to the game’s “exciting nature”, it is evident that the group do not practice social distancing. Under the enhanced community q
uarantine prevailing in Luzon as declared by Pres. Rodrigo Duterte, the population are directed to observe social distancing or must observe one meter apart from each other when they go to places. The directive is to avoid possible transmission of the vi rus.
Jerick captioned his post, “May pang-s
He posed the question if the people playing the game seen on the photograph deserve to receive help from the government.
Jerick’s update has received lots of reactions and comments on social media. A majority felt so disappointed, and one even said, “Tapos aangal na wala nang makain, na nagugutom kasi wala pagkain ‘pag ma-extend pa ang ECQ.
Is it right to play the game while the world is in a crisis, and neglect social distancing?
