A kind and generous vlogger decided to give away his grocery to a stranger trying to collect discarded cartons he saw on the streets.
Basel Manadil aka The Hungry Syrian Wanderer is again showing a random act of kindness amid the continuing health crisis. He decided to give a stranger some groceries.
According to Basel, he was doing his grocery shopping when he happened to see a man trying to pick up discarded cartons to earn some money. The stranger even asked for a few coins but much to the man’s surprise, Basel handed him his box of groceries.
He shared, “Waiting for long queues and spending two hours or more inside the grocery is now the new norm. After getting my food supply for 2 weeks I couldn’t help but notice this man collecting cartons on my way home and decided to follow him and gave him some of my groceries.”
Basel continued by giving a reminder to everyone to be kind and compassionate amid the struggle we are facing these days.
“As a citizen of the world, we need to constantly remain aware of how difficult things are going to be. And we will have to accept the fact that we will struggle. Once we’ve done that, everything will become possible. Because we will no longer complain about how difficult things are. Because we are going to focus on doing the best work we possibly can. Because we will become an unstoppable force of forward motion,” Basel wrote.
The vlogger, known for his good deeds, encouraged his followers to continue moving forward.
