According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), washing hands thoroughly (wet, lather, scrub, rinse, and dry) with soap for at least 20 seconds can help in preventing illness and can keep you healthy.

As a helpful guide, they also suggests that you sing the “Happy Birthday” song while washing your hands. But other people are too creative that they also tried other songs according to their taste which are also equivalent to 20 seconds and more.

Facebook netizen Cecile G. Tamura shared a photo from WeWork company’s restroom containing lyrics from six songs you can sing while washing your hands as an alternative to “Happy Birthday song.”

“Catch performances in the bathroom of WeWork, not #CoronaVirus,” she said in her caption.

The songs included are chorus parts of Good as Hell by Lizzo that should be repeated twice, Africa by Toto, Landslide by Fleetwood Mac, Mr. Brightside by The Killers, Another Brick in the Wall by Pink Floyd, and Love On Top by Beyonce.

“Great idea! I’ve never thought about this… 🙂 I’ll pass on the idea to my wife, so she can include this in her company,” commented by Facebook user Rui Silva.

Another netizen, Lin JG, also said, “I love this! We will include this in our bathroom sinks too. What a great idea.”

One of it was posted by Facebook page Mothership SG featuring 90’s songs which include Barbie Girl by Aqua, Macarena by Los del Rio, Gangsta’s Paradise by Coolio, Hit Me Baby One More Time by Britney Spears, Wannabe by Spice Girls, and I Want It That Way by Backstreet Boys.

Another post from the same page which is intended for hand washing is composed of KPop songs such as Gee by SNSD or Girls Generation, Loser by Big Bang, Psycho by Red Velvet, Blood Sweat Tears by BTS, Growl by EXO, Boombayah by Blackpink, and Cheer Up by Twice.
