Jobert Sucaldito has filed a complaint against his former station DZMM after he was allegedly illegally dismissed.
The veteran entertainment radio host has brought his grievances to the Department of Labor and Employment after he was removed from his show. Jobert, who had been with DZMM radio show “Showbuzz” for years was put on indefinite suspension after his controversial remarks against Nadine Lustre.
Jobert was with his lawyer, Atty. Ferdinand Topacio, when he met with Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III to formally file an illegal dismissal complaint with the DOLE against DZMM.
According to Jobert’s camp, they need to make DZMM and their station manager Marah Capuyan be held responsible for removing him from his job “nang ganun-ganun na lamang.”
In a video captured by Maine Nadaya which was also shared by Jobert on his Facebook page, he can be seen explaining the details of his complaint. Jobert said he had been a target of so much critics online.
Kasama sa work natin ‘yun, e, alam mo yun? Kumbaga, it’s newsworthy, e.”
Speaking with the Labor Secretary, Jobert lamented how easy it was had been for the station to decide to “kick me out of my job.”
Following his filing of complaint, Jobert said he feels relieved. He said, “Finally, nasimulan ko nang bunutin ang nakabaon na tinik sa dibdib ko. God bless us all.”
