Alden Richards couldn’t help but be emotional as he talked about his brother who is a nurse in California, USA.
The Kapuso star gave a shout out to the frontliners of the government’s efforts against coronavirus. Alden extended his appreciation to all the health workers, barangay officials, uniformed personnel who continue their promise to serve the public amid the ongoing health crisis.
Upon talking about the dedication of these frontliners, Alden remembered his nurse brother who is also taking part in the fight in California, USA. He said he urged his brother to stay at home but like the others, he wanted to fulfill his mission
“Pinipilit ko siya na huwag nang pumasok kasi naka-lockdown sila but sabi niya sa ‘kin parang kawawa ‘yung mga pasyente,” Alden said, and then briefly paused to compose himself. “Naiyak tuloy ako.”
“I feel for him kasi kailangan niyang gawin ‘yung trabaho sa community,” he added.
Alden thanked the country’s frontliners and said he will always be extending his prayers for them.
He said, “Thank you so much sa inyong lahat. Andito lang kami kahit hindi man kami nandyan physically but our prayers our hearts and minds goes to them,” Alden said.
Just like the rest of the world, Alden also said he prays that the health crisis will soon be over.
“Sana matapos na to, ‘yun na lang talaga ‘yung pinagdadasal nating lahat,” Alden said.
