Entertainment columnist Lolit Solis disclosed on Instagram that she felt envious over James Reid’s property for sale in Quezon City, Thursday. The P85-million-worth abode purportedly served as home of former couple James and Nadine Lustre but is now for sale; a month after the two officially confirmed their br
“Inggit ako ha, imagine kumita na ng ganuon kalaki si James. Talbog pa iyong ibang artista na meron(g) negosyo at other sources of income,” Solis wrote. [I am envious, can you imagine that James had already earned that much? He earned more compared to other celebrities who has business and other sources of income.]
The columnist said she has never heard of any business or other source of income of the actor; which means he probably earned the money in showbiz. Solis jokingly said that it might catch the Bureau of Internal Revenue’s attention and spur a lifestyle check.
She said if the price could have been just P85,000.00, she could buy it. The P85-million price, however, seems like she’s aiming for the moon.
One netizen commented that James may have bought the property when the JaDine love team was at its peak — with them doing projects in TV, print, billboard, ads, concerts, personal appearances, and music recordings.
The three-storey house located in Loyola Grand Villas, according to DF Buzz, is situated in a 1,000-sqm lot. It has seven rooms, a large open space li
ving area, two huge kitchens, a soundproof recording studio, a 25-m l ap pool, a gym complete with equipment, with CCTV, and a six-car garage.
James and Nadine were once reported to have been l
iving together in a single abode. She said then “There are younger couples — mas young pa sa akin (who are already li ving together). It’s normal na, e. Come on, guys, it’s 2017! I’m not gonna confirm and I’m not gonna deny. But then, like, ano naman? Let’s all just be open-minded.” This was later confirmed by James in an interview with Gandang Gabi Vice.
