The “asong may attitude” [dog with attitude] has literally taken the web by storm and captured attention of numerous netizens. Because of his incredulous poses, several netizens captioned his poses as “Paak na paak ka Ghurl?” or “Attitude ka Ghurl?” Alaniz Litao, however, never thought that the dog she saved — and now her pet — would go viral.

The certified dog lover said she happened to see GD about to sleep and looking sharply at her so she decided to take a picture; this then went viral.

DF Buzz has earlier shared that she named the dog as GD or garbage dog; the reason being was GD was dirty, pitiful and weak when they picked him in the street.

In an interview with Definitely Filipino, Alaniz disclosed that her heart is really close to animals especially to dogs who are “sweet and very man’s best friend.” She said seeing the dog’s improving health and vigor after saving brings her delight; this passion of her is fully supported by her family especially her grandmother who likes to buy treats and shirts for the furry animals.

The dog savior has just graduated from college (BS Hospitality Management) and is now looking for employment. “Someday, if I’ll get rich, I want to fulfill my dream of adopting more pets and save pitiful dogs.”

Her love of dogs started during her elementary years when they had Chloe, a dog from Japan. Another dog named Candy came to their life when she was in High School. She said she really like dogs and appreciate their love for humans.

Alaniz added she dreams to be like Heart Evangelista and build a dog shelter. “I like Heart’s attitude especially when it comes to being kind with pets.”

Heart, as shared in a Virtual Pinoy story, was fond of supporting advocacies related to pets; giving an all-out support to the Philippine Animal Welfare Society, supporting the “Adopt, Dont’s Shop” campaign, and putting up an animal shelter in Sorsogon.

Godspeed to you both, Alaniz and Heart. Wishing for the dog saviors to meet soon. GD, awra pa more!
