The viral student, Carl Malone Montecido has earned praises; not just from his fellow Filipinos but even from International celebrities.

On Twitter, Carl’s singing video has gone so viral that it has reached an international audience; that even big names of international singers and celebrities have commented and shared his performance. In the viral video, Carl be seen belting out Sam Smith’s hit song, “Too Good At Goodbyes” at the entertainment aisle of a mall.

Sam Smith already shared his reaction on the viral cover of his song. He was truly impressed and said, “Who is this kid? You are out of this universe whoever you are.”

Carl’s viral video also impressed American Idol Kelly Clarkson who also couldn’t help but share her reaction. She also tweeted, “This video has been going around my team as well! This kid is insane!!”

Even Pussycat Dolls member Nicole Scherzinger said Carl can totally sing. She posted a comment saying, “Omg he is everything babe! And he can sing!” One Direction’s Niall Horan also couldn’t help but be impressed. He wrote, “Wowwwwww! Amazing.”

Other international big names like Bebe Rexha, The Vamps member James McVey, Ty Dolla Sign, and many others also complimented and shared their admiration for Carl.

Carl, a person with disability (PWD) from Bacolod has earlier gained popularity for placing 5th in the Its Showtime’s “Tawag ng Tanghalan” back in 2016. He was dubbed as the “Blind Balladeer” and took home P100,000 as cash prize.
